Recently there have been so many new faces to my site. So I decided I’d take a moment and introduce myself to those who maybe just started reading. I started writing years ago but just recently took the risk of turning my leadership driven site into a Life & Style blog. Its’ purpose is to inspire passionate risk taking and pursue things that you never thought were imaginable. My entire life has been based around failure after failure, and for that, I’m grateful. So how about we take a second to backup and let me take you to the place it all began…well, kinda.

I was born and raised in Fort Smith, Arkansas on April 22 of 92′. Now if you’re from Arkansas, Fort Smith gets a lot of shade thrown its’ way. Personally, it will always be home and I’ll do whatever I can to make it the best it can be. Anyways, my mom is in Education and my dad, amongst other things, has a background in photography. Growing up I was your typical Arkansas boy. I might get brave enough one day to post some photos on here 🙂 I was heavily involved in school, my church, and the community. My dreams have fueled the need to succeed. My grandparents on both sides were entrepreneurs of sort, and my aunts and uncles were equally successful. The pressure to be great was all but too real. haha.

We all have those moments that put things into perspective right? Ever have one of those days? My senior year I did. On the cuff of starting a photography business in high school, my parents decided to divorce. Not because I started a business, but because it was inevitable. Needless to say that took a lot out of me. Processing this has been one of the most difficult things in my childhood.

After graduating high school, I took part in a pre-seminary type program and graduated with a certificate in Ministry. Most might not know that while running my own creative agency, I took a job at my church where I helped in media and production. From 2011 to 2015 I spent time working with a few agencies that were catalysts for local and natoinal startups. During this time I was able to be apart of 7 different companies. Some succeeded, some failed, but I learned more than I could ever ask for.

In January of 2015 I accepted the role of Media Developer at the U.S. Marshals Museum. I cannot be more excited to join this project and help build this national learning center.

In a small concise nutshell, this is the 100,000ft overview of my life. So why say all this? Why put the basics out for everyone to read. It’s important for me to let everyone who reads this, hi mom, to know who I am. I make no apologies about being messed up and not having my life together. I make no apologies about being a Christian and trying to live my life like Christ, although I fail miserably. I make no apologies about the purpose of this site – to inspire, to encourage, and tell you that no matter where you’re at in life, you got this. I’m focusing on topics that interest me, and hopefully you too. My world is surrounded by Tech, Travel, Fashion, and Faith. So that’s what we’ll be talking about. Join the conversation! I’d love to hear from you, and about you.

I have this policy, that if someone ever asks me to coffee no matter where they are located, I go. Oh, and it’s on me :).

So how about coffee soon?
